"Unmake has such a negative connotation," the demigod shrugged, lips twisting as he reworked the words to help Bucky understand why this wasn't something worry over, why this wasn't wrong. He was still seeing their cruetly as work. As an effort that was wasted. "I'm only trying to return to you what was taken or removed. Nothing more and nothing less."
That was his task, anyways. Clint had only asked that Loki help with remembering things and perhaps some light babysitting. The bigger picture wan't necessarily something he was in charge of so it wasn't truly a lie.
"The kid?" Tapping his chin, Loki tried to think on whom Bucky was referring. Small, Bony, weak. That didn't describe anyone that he remembered to have associated--oh wait. Wasn't Captain America a dinky little human thing before they had pumped him full of super roids or other? That must have been him. Yes, surely that was him.
"Oh you mean Steve. I think you mean Steve? Rogers, Captain America, head of the Avengers. Your bestest friend."
