At any other given time during his stay here Loki would have diligently been doing whatever it was he'd committed to. Which, if laid out into an assortment of colorful note cards and stickers, would have been a complete novella. One of those things was to keep track of the Captain America's Winter friend. Bucky James or just James or just Bucky. He understood the concept of earning nick names and titles but which one to call this guy was never exactly stated.
The obligation had fallen to the wayside when it was clear Elsa was in trouble or upset about something. And that had taken Loki time to devote his energy too, something he did gladly, seeing Elsa through it to the best of his ability, and then seeing Anna safely to her sister so she could do more than he ever would be able to. Only when he was sure they'd be alright did he leave.
Tommy must have been out on patrol, a thing he'd have to do later to make sure the ice wall was holding, seeing as Elsa couldn't be expected to keep with it at the moment. Until then, the Demi God had remembered he hadn't slept in awhile and having been drained physically and emotionally, decided to catch some sleeps on the very comfy couch of the living room.
Until there was a knock at the door and he was left dragging his feet in search of the handle, not even bothering with his innate alertness. Danger didn't usually come knocking. Pun intended.
"Oooh," Loki blinked in surprise at the very distraught looking former HYDRA Agent, the last person he expected at the door. Of course he didn't have to think before stepping aside to let him in, frowning at Bucky's obvious anxiety that was palpable enough for him to taste in the air. "Um, sure, yes. Come on in, make yourself at home." He closed the door behind them, giving his cheeks a hard rub to wake up, fingers tussling the thick black locks back from his forehead.
Hopefully these were questions Loki had the answer to. If not, it wasn't as if he weren't skilled in fabricating a scrumptious lie. It would just have to be one that didn't disrupt the return of these memories of his. "You don't look so well Bu--James? James."
