Bad news like a sucker punch, what do you say? WHO: Elsa and Loki WHERE: Frozen Ice Castle Fortress of Doooomm WHEN: Friday evening WHAT: Loki goes to see what's the matter with Elsa :c WARNING: Sadness STATUS: Complete
An unusual amount of time had come and gone since Loki had last heard from Elsa. This was peculiar because he had been seeing her regularly, if not to help maintain the protective ice wall surrounding the town, a random bump in from planning with Anna, or even just to hang out at the castle--which he supposed he was doing less of now, since he had Tommy to converse with back at the apartment.
Imagine his surprise to find the once elegant ice palace to now be a rather disfigured mess of what now looked to be a missing page from the Iced Transylvanian castles, complete with Snow Golem. Having known from the last emotional distress Elsa exhibited when she was upset about her sister, it didn't take Loki but a moment to put together something was wrong. His sword would have been lovely to have right about then in order to face the Golem, but, why bother? His coat could make him invisible. So, with his handy dandy invisibility, Loki quietly and quickly made his way about the entrance and moved to try and find an entry. He had to go to the other side of the structure so the monster wouldn't see him melt a little cubby with his fire magic, resealing it just to be safe.
Even though he was unable to be bothered by the temperature with all the conveniences of being half frost giant, the distressed look of the ice and it's structure gave him worry. "Elsa?" He called, maneuvering through the once familiar place he'd visited as the neighborhood kids would a tree fort. Only now the tree fort was splintered and angry. "I love the new doorman...he's so...fluffy."
Humor probably wasn't best right now but Loki couldn't help the nature of his personality. He didn't know what to expect from his friend. She'd had a flurry of anxiety before but nothing in the way of making monsters. His instincts told him nothing good.
