Stiles nodded along like he was getting everything she was saying. He wasn't. He was getting about fifteen percent. Technology had never been his really strong suit. He could work his phone really well, but when it came to routers and transmitters and hacking, he was firmly out of the running. RFID tags were a different kind of story, but he'd had a real need to learn those.
"Uh, right, my device." Stiles pulled the little thing out of his pocket and handed it across the desk to her. "So your device is wired into this secondary network and it auto-updates the database?" Right, that was... he thought that was the point, there. Either way, he was beginning to see the need to pay attention and learn this stuff.
He cleared his throat and tapped his fingers on the desk. "I gotta be honest, I really don't do the tech thing too often. I mean, I can work a smart phone and the internet and whatever, I can make RFID tags. But the whole... networking thing, that just kind of flies over my head a little."
