It was true that they needed blood and maybe they could find someone wandering around in the middle of the night just like they were. It couldn't hurt to try, even if they came up empty handed. So when Damon turned to look at her, she focused on his blue eyes and licked at her lips. "We should keep going. At least for a little while," she replied to him before swallowing hard, eyes skating over the sight of his lips.
The pleading look in his eyes hadn't gone unnoticed to Elena--she knew what Damon wanted when he wanted it, but the fact still remained that getting a meal was more important than getting-back-together sex.
"Come on," she told him, pulling their hands away from his chest to lead him along back down the sidewalk.
