Being the only man other than Stiles in a station full of women, well, Rick was hardly anything like the world of Men that Diana may have been accustomed to. He may have been raised in the south but he wasn't the man to have any sort of biased opinion regarding sex, race, or anything, really. Rick had always just naturally been a people's person, and thank goodness too.
"Don't mention it. I appreciate the offer, and I'm glad to know it's just someone else whose got my back in a place I don't fully understand." Trusting people had been something of a roller coaster learning experience. He'd gone from trusting any and everyone, to no one, to just being cautious and open.
Rick did appreciate that there were good people here. People like Diana.
"There's nothing to forgive, really...You keep saying world of Men. D'you mean people who aren't.." Was she really a God? Rick never believed in higher beings like that. He supposed given where they were he had to be open. "You mean regular people, or is it all men?"
