Hansel could break off the handle, remove the insides of that and melt it down for the tipped bullets later then, once they had more of the silver together. He was better working on those in one straight sitting since silver was a little more complex to work with in this place.
The electricity thing, Hansel mostly just switched out of. He'd had more than enough electricity to last him forever in this place and frankly he wasn't too bothered with how it worked or why it worked. He'd take lanterns over that crap any day, especially since getting the wiring out of this place had been a nightmare and a half.
