Pinkie Pie wasn't generally a sad pony. In fact, she wasn't really sad at the moment. Dismayed, perhaps, disappointed and upset, yes, but not truly sad. She knew what sad felt like, one the rare occasions when she felt like crying, but she would never dream of doing that in front of someone. She tried not to cry in front of people, it was embarrassing and she knew it didn't make anyone happy to see her cry.
That small smile, and reassuring words from Robert was all that she needed. A bright smile returned to her face and she nodded, giving his hand a squeeze before releasing his fingers. "Well, if you say so, Robert, then I won't doubt it. I have faith that you and Rosalind will find answers for us. If not this time around, then eventually." She gave him a shrug and pulled her hand back, lacing her fingers together - amused at the fact that she had fingers. That will never get old.
"And I'm sure there will be plenty of us here to help push, too. I know I will." Pinkie's head tilted as she imagined herself physically pushing the town. A tiny giggle escaped her as she shook her head. "Gummy will help, too." She had almost forgotten about him, but she scooped him up from the front pocket of her apron and held him up. "Well, he'll help as much as a toothless alligator can. Which isn't all that much. He's good at... dancing." Holding up one of his claws, she shook it a few times, and the alligator just blinked before opening it's mouth and then smacking it down a few times.
