There was so much Robert could explain to the young pony, and if he were honest he would enjoy every minute of it. He did not have much of an opinion of other people in town, but he knew that he found Pinkie Pie delightful. Her company was always welcome, as were the treats she brought along. Her presence did brighten the dismal aura that blanketed the town.
The town itself was strange, though he supposed if he told anyone about a floating city and a monstrous bird that was created for "protection" purposes they would say that Columbia was a strange place as well. To each their own was his (and Rosalind's) motto, and the twins firmly believed that that also held true for universes. Each universe had its own nuances, and societal rules. This was Marrowood, and he and Rosalind (and all of the residents) had to learn to live within in.
"Everything is a success, Miss Pie. Failure is but a perspective that one chooses to take. Creating a tear, even if it simply opens up here, is still a success. Failure simply isn't an option.
