Robert had never heard of "being happy" as being a viable occupation. Perhaps if he had witnessed Equestria with his own eyes he would know that there were very different positions based upon one's disposition in the world. Without a first hand point-of-view Robert was left to whatever it was that Pinkie Pie decided to tell him; whether or not he believed it all was another story altogether.
Though Robert was not all too concerned with where she came from (at the moment) - he was enjoying her company, a rare occurrence for the man that knew nothing but work prior to arriving in Marrowood. "There are indeed many options, and each option leads to yet another option and another timeline. We are but minute points in all of space and time..."
She was so gentle with him, the touch on his forearm did not go unnoticed by the man. Though he imagined that she was gentle with all the residents of Marrowood. It was in her nature, after all, and that was good. Robert was, and he knew this about himself and his sister, not a very good person. How could he be after all that he had done in his past. Things that he dared not shared with the sweet pony.
"We shall," he said again. Though if they were to perish would they not just return to this place once more?
