"Why not?" Even instinctive swings would go a long way in a pinch, but Diana didn't want it to come to that, at least as far as Emma was concerned. She nodded at the contingency plan, appreciating the direction, but right now she planned to stay close. Keeping the woman many saw as a potential leader safe was a higher priority than a quick clean-up.
One of the long branches in her hand, Diana strode with purpose towards the fog, noting how it was thicker along the right side. The stronger smell confirmed her suspicion that the amount of fog went along with the activity, and she turned her head to glance over at Emma. "I'll go straight in. There are probably some outliers to the left," Diana pointed with the branch to indicate small clusters of dense mist.
"I'll clear this up and try to draw them to me there."
