Though during her time in Marrowood thus far, Bucky Barnes had yet to go off the edge and massacre the village population, the recent demise of one Winter-Soldier-look-alike named Jefferson put her on edge. With Jefferson dead, however brief it may be, who knew what kind of emotional stress that would put on Barnes. Anything could happen and he needed supervision now that his handler wasn't there to call the shots or keep tabs.
After she'd heard the transmission from the hysterical girl on the network, she'd set out to check in on the Winter Soldier. Marrowood was small enough with only a small amount of viable space to wander in that it didn't take her long to first spot him. She'd promised Clint that she wouldn't engage with Barnes. Following him from a distance and making sure he didn't go insane wasn't 'engaging' so... technically she was keeping her promise.
She'd trailed him long enough to watch him find Jefferson's body before heading back into town, careful to not fully cross her partner's path on the way. She knew he wouldn't approve, but she didn't want to hear it. She watched for Clint to return to town before heading back out to watch Barnes. He was still hovering over Jefferson's body, though eventually he started moving.
Careful to keep her distance, she once again started trailing the Winter Soldier, eager to see what he was going to do with a dead body.
