The Lake... "The Lake's a bad place," Lisa said, mostly under her breath and only half realizing she'd said anything at all. Her chest tightened, constricting around that something in her chest that was so attached to Dean that she didn't understand, even more so now that she knew where he was planning to go. And obviously in a hurry.
"Dean..." she continued, pushing herself from where she stood to take a couple steps closer to him, but she stopped. Again, she didn't know why. "I need to ask you somethin'- before you go. And I need you to answer me honestly." Just dive into it. No more dancing around. No more ignoring it. It has to be out in the open. She met his eyes, begging for the same honesty she was showing him right now. She would have to take whatever degree of it he'd give her- she wouldn't fight him, especially if he was determined to find his brother.
"What..." She licked her lips, suddenly feeling like her tongue had gone dry. "What did you and Sam really do, back home... I know it wasn't just...construction."
