So you bring this poor dog in from the rain. Who: Lisa and Dean What: Serious Discussions about Former Lives Where: Their apartment When: Right before Dean leaves to meet Sam to investigate the church. Rating: Language and Feels?
Lisa had been tense for days. She'd caught wind of these 'notes' people had been getting, then just like that, they'd been posted in front of the apartment complex and over every store door in town- including where she worked. Ghosty Joe seemed completely unaware, and that didn't settle her at all- they hadn't acted weird when they were all getting sucked into dreamland. It'd given her a lot of things to think about- namely what was going to happen, because clearly this was leading to something, and she had no problem justifying her paranoia about it.
Another factor was Dean- and now his brother, Sam. The two of them being around sure as hell felt a lot more important than just the guy she had an irritatingly resilient crush on and the brother she never met before now. They seemed way too put-together with all this weird shit than some ordinary construction contractors. The things she'd heard and seen them talking about- the things Dean said... the things she'd seen Dean do.
She listened from the kitchen as Dean moved around the living room with obvious purpose. He was on his phone, he had the look in his eye... the one that said 'mission' clear as a bell to her, even though she knew she didn't know him well enough to be able to tell. And strangely enough, she felt like she'd had this conversation with him before.
And for some reason, it made her sick to her stomach.
"What's going on?" she asked him from the archway, worry in her eyes.
