It made Bella feel pretty good about her chances of actually helping out in this situation, and she let a slight smile spread across her lips at the other woman’s suggestions. She moved to adjust her jacket and search her pockets, wondering if she even brought enough money to actually pay for something within the town.
“I can go to the pawn shop and find out,” she said, happily. “At the very least we can know for sure whether it’s even possible, you know?”
She started to moved forward-- maybe a little too quickly before she abruptly reigned in the unnatural speed and forced herself into a more human-paced step. She stopped in her tracks though and paused for a moment, suddenly wheeling around to face the other woman again.
“Oh, and my name is Bella,” she said, offering a pleasant smile. “I guess I should have mentioned that first. What’s your name?”
