"At this point a lot of the conclusions we've reached are based heavily in speculation of what we believe the being may be looking to accomplish," for the most part, Velma was neck deep in speculation. Wandering to the table, placing her books down on an edge that didn't already have stuff piled on, Velma reached for the book in question.
"There's several notes that appear to illustrate what have been deduced to be trees." Grabbing the copies she'd made, little scribbles on the back, Velma laid them out on the table, "It leads me to believe that whatever the being is, it comes from the forest, not a warning to us not to enter it, as we already know that. Additionally, all of the trees are in the background, as if the figure is coming from within them and outwards. I believe that whatever it is that resides in the forest is taunting residents in a bid to lure them to a gruesome fate."
Clasping her hands behind her back, Velma turned towards the other woman, "Of course it's difficult to say for sure, and it's impossible to determine just what the creature is without first hand sightings, and as of yet, there have only been notes and a kidnapping."
