"Yeah.... well, I wouldn't be so sure." Babydoll said with a little bitterness in her voice, "They seem to like to know where you're going, and avoid all the place that might actually have answers." Babydoll muttered, as she looked over the map of the lake once more. She wasn't sure how much help she was here at the station, especially with all of them protesting her going out on her own, and going out anywhere with potential answers for that matter. She viewed that as they were playing the cautious cards instead of the investigative ones, which was what Babydoll played most of the time.
At the mention of the lake, Babydoll looked up at Diana and laid the map out for her to look, "No, that's the weird thing. It's crystal clear... there's just something, or somethings in there. I couldn't get a good look, I was trying to stay on the shore before being pulled in." When she asked how she escaped the hold, Babydoll pointed to her katana, "With this. I didn't get a good slice, but it was good enough to get it off my ankle."
"I'm trying to get to the boat in the middle of the lake." She answered before Diana could ask.
