Ever get that feel that you can shift WHO: Hansel & Gretel WHERE: Ouajiwood Park WHEN: As the sirens occur WHAT: While doing more investigating, Hansel and Gretel are caught outside with the dark. WARNINGS: Violence, language.
There was nothing normal about this place. Not even the locations seemed at all average. Having worked their way through most of the town itself, the twins had eventually wound up at the park. Between the horrid rusting decay of the place and the dried out blood etchings, the park itself just had an otherworldly feel.
None of the ritual markings looked familiar, but that didn't stop the twins from being entirely on edge about things. Blood rituals were rarely for nice things.
The flock of strange birds that scattered from the edge of the park caught Hansel's attention, shot gun raised as he watched the animals vanish in the sky. Then the siren started to sound, Hansel turned to Gretel, raising an eyebrow, mouth open to question her thoughts when the already limited light started to fade out. There were rustles and groans, coming from the edge of the woods.
"Whatever that's supposed to warn about, I don't think it's good."
