Running her hand over her forehead to cast away anything remaining, Emma sighed slightly, dragging her hand down over her face afterwards to try and wake the rest of the way up. She knew it was bad to just stay there, to just fall asleep at the office and not go home, home to where Ruby was apparently by herself since Jefferson was never home anymore either. But she just felt more calmed at the office now.
"Yeah, just... it's a rough week." Which was an understatement of epic proportions, but that was neither here nor there. "What can I help you with?" It was out of Emma's mouth before she remembered the week, "Oh! Hansel, right? Sorry, skipped my mind." She'd almost forgot that it was due time for some additional insulin.
