At least they had chocolate, and coffee. Whatever horrors this place held, Atlas was overjoyed to say that it was better than where he'd left. Even with his ace in the hole, even with the chance of leaving the submerged hellhole behind him--anything was better than that. Had to be.
"I can understand that," he said, nodding. "Tell you what, though, I'll buy a bit of chocolate. If anything, I can pass it on to one of the lassies I know. He dug in his pocket and then paused. "Come to think of it, though, I haven't got a dime on me." He sighed. "Change of plan. When I get myself some money, I'll come back and be a proper paying customer."
