Scribbling notes as she talked, Stiles nodded along with what she was saying. Even the smallest of things could be enough to make a difference. The eye colour may not have seemed like much but it might have made a difference later. So he wrote down everything.
"So basically," Stiles said, dropping his pen on the notebook, "what you're saying is that alpha structure in your world could be nothing or everything. But you don't really know." His tone wasn't accusing or disappointed, it was simply matter of fact. "So we'll shelve that. I think we probably decided that already, anyway."
He tapped his fingers on the table. "Awareness, though--you said 'become more aware' about your wolf. So we know you can control yourself, but do you actually come out of the shift knowing who you are and where you were and what you were doing?" It might have sounded like a strange question on the surface, but if she could control herself and retain what she experienced, it may have been a help to other werewolves or the community at large.
