Even though she couldn't see the woman so close she could feel the air disturbed by her movements, Lisa looked up and in the direction of the given name. She recognized it instantly, now able to match a tone of speech with a face.
"I know you-" she said, a touch of colorless amusement in her tone. "I'm Lisa- from the ...social network, or whatever the hell it is." Gritting her teeth, she tied the remaining sleeve around her leg. The pain ground her voice through gravel when she continued. "Funny, horrible little world, isn't it."
Far as chances went...
"I'll take anything we can get- but I think... we need to find more light. Not like we're gonna be moving fast if we keep running into playground equipment." Lisa slumped against the wall, putting her weight on her good foot. That was going to get real old, real fast.
"So if we are in the town hall, you think they'd have some kind of shelter? Like a basement storm room that has flashlights or lanterns."
