Robin still held her gun at the ready, but as they retreated away from these monsters, she didn't think she had enough light to even shoot and risk injuring who she was with. They had managed to make it to the square, at least, that much was lucky, but one of the creatures swiped at them both, slicing a clear path through her shirt and across her abdomen. She cried out in pain, reaching a hand out blindly for the woman next to her. From the sounds of things, both of them were in rough shape.
"We go inside one of these buildings and they'll just come after us," Robin said quickly, in between deep breaths as she tried to ignore the sharp pain that was radiating throughout her body. It made it hard to think, but Robin knew from her previous attempts at exploring where the playground was in relation to the Square. From there, they could hopefully figure out a route back to the Sleepy Hollow. Was it even worth it to try and go there?
She could barely make out the shape of another monster as crawl-dragged itself towards them and, in desperation, Robin took aim and shot. "God, what should we do?"
