While Loki quite literally knew he outranked most if not all mortals, it was that sort of thinking that had put his old self into the fires of forever Hel. Not at all his aspirations, and a deep seed of past personalities he was working on. Besides, he couldn't very well make friends if he was being a condescending little shit now, could he? Offering Elsa a genuinely warm smile instead his usual snarky one, Loki easily kept pace with her tentative stride.
"Is that because of the apparent danger I've heard so much about?" His inquiry was thankfully easily hidden by the newness of his arrival. Of course he'd attribute it to all of the horrors a newcomer would be hearing of. Not because he suspected she was hiding her ice powers and was being nosy. Oh no.
"How lucky of me to have caught you on a day you've chosen to get some air." Wandering was entirely less fun on one's lonesome. Even if Loki didn't learn any of his curiosities or Elsa wasn't as helpful as he knew she'd be, despite her disclaimer, it was better than walking about in an unfamiliar place alone. Loki was tired of being alone. And frankly, the idea of Kate and America being around, still despising him, was more unsettling than he'd have liked it to be. It sparked that annoying desire of belonging or hankering for companionship he knew he couldn't have because he was just..well he was horrible.
"Please, don't let me dictate your walk though. Whatever information you'd like to give I'll readily take it. Or just as easily serve as a walking companion. Hopefully there's nothing spooky roaming around."
