Take your instinct by the reins
Who: Elsa and Babydoll
When: Monday evening
Where: Sleepy Hollow Restaurant
What: Babydoll and Elsa try to make things easier for others, and bond along the way.
Ever since she'd returned to Marrowood from the spirit realm, Elsa had done her best to take a more active role in figuring out how to get everyone home. The promise that she'd made to herself was one she had every intention of sticking with: She would no longer allow herself to victim of circumstance.
While that was true, though, finding out how to make that happen was easier said than done. Her lack of understanding of the world so many of the others seemed to be from - one with electric carts and things of that sort - meant that any contribution she made to the researchers was extremely limited. And, although she always had her power at her fingertips, the last thing she wanted to do was unleash it without purpose. Not when her control was still new and tentative.
So, she'd been doing a lot of thinking. There was a way that she could help, and she just wished she knew how. When she'd spoken with Babydoll about finding some way to help the newly arrived ones, it felt like she might finally be headed somewhere. It was more than just a small relief.
Straightening her skirt - real fabric this time, courtesy of one of the shops in town (the one that Hans didn't work in) - Elsa knitted her fingers together on her lap, doing some light people-watching around the restaurant as she waited for Babydoll's arrival. The table she'd chosen was off to the side, but not so out of the way that she couldn't be found. She just hoped the other girl made her way down soon.
