yes, the perfect gift for me WHO: Pinkie Pie & OPEN TO ALL. WHERE: Ouijawood park & playground WHEN: Friday afternoon. WHAT: Pinkie Pie tries to bring some life into the people in Marrowood the only way she knows how. WARNINGS: TBD.
Everything was set, and everything was ready. Pinkie Pie couldn't wait to meet all the new faces that said they would come to help clean the park. She somehow convinced a few of the "friendlier" natives of Marrowood to dedicate some tables and a few rickety benches, and she looted the janitors closet of tools to try and repair the dilapidated playground. Pink hair was pulled up into a messy ponytail and Gummy - her pet alligator - rested on the top of her head, almost looking like a hair ornament were it not for his occasional blinking and licking of his eyes.
In comparison to the rest of Marrowood, Pinkie Pie stuck out like a sore thumb. She was brightly colors and had a permanent smile plastered to her face. Giving the cart with all her sweets and treats a hip bump, the plates clattered from the jolt, and two of them fell into her open hands, cupcakes piling high and proud on them. They were bright, like her, and colorful. They clashed with the rest of the town, and that made Pinkie Pie smile even more. Knowing she was bringing such brightness to the town made her happy. It made her feel like she was bringing a brighter future to these people that looked so dull and dismal.
"It's true some days are dark and lonely..." She began to sing to herself as she put out the cupcakes onto the table, "And maybe you feel sad, but Pinkie will be there to show you that it isn't that bad." Giggling, she went back to the cart and pulled out a spoon and tossed it over her shoulder to land perfectly in the punch bowl without spilling a drop. "There's one thing that makes me happy, and makes my whole world worth while..." Doing a small pirouette in beat with the song that was playing in her head, she pulled Gummy out of her hair and spun around with him, "And that's when I talk to my friends and get them to smiiiiiiiiiile!" Giggling again, she placed Gummy back in her hair and went back about setting up the party.
Ginny told her; with the promise of cupcakes and sweets, how could anyone say no? Okay, so Ouijawood Park was kind of creepy, but Pinkie tried to make it look friendlier. The playground was falling apart, and the eerie laughter was definitely off-putting. She just hoped that being there and filling the area with bright colors and happy songs would pull in the new people and some of the people that weren't so new. She wanted to make a difference, and redeem herself for whatever demon!Pinkie might have done while she was in the Further.
Maybe this would bring about a new Marrowood...? A brighter, friendlier, less scary Marrowood.
