Hermione + Ginny
"As though we aren't already directly in crazy town," Hermione replied lightly, though she didn't take it personally that Ginny preferred to have some separation. "Maybe you're right. I had to see Lavender all the time during school, and it didn't exactly help us get on then." There was also Ron complicating things, yes, but still. Ginny did have a point.
When the line of questioning was turned onto her, though, Hermione frowned, trying to come up with a genuine answer. Somehow, over the last month or so, she'd gotten used to Marrowood - horrors and all. It was a sobering realisation, but it was hard to avoid after more than two months.
"I don't know," she said finally, knowing it sounded like a cop-out response. "I mean, aside from terrified half the time and trying to make sure we can find a way out of here? Things have sort of stablised after the possessions and everything... they're almost comfortable, but I know something has to be coming soon."
