Wary of the ghost's intentions and focused on the obvious threat, Millicent didn't see the other creature coming at them. Something moving that fast, there should have been noise to warn her of the approach, but of course the rules were different here. At Lavender's shout, Millicent's head snapped up just in time to see a gaunt, eyeless woman with scraggly hair barrel into her.
She hit the ground hard and in the next moment it was stumbling over her, stepping on her stomach in its rush to get to one of the others. Millicent grunted in pain and -- acting without thinking -- grabbed for its legs. Bitch was going down, if she had anything to say about it. Its flesh was rotting and she could feel it sloughing off under her hands, but she was rewarded for her efforts as the thing pitched forward, falling to the ground.
Inferi were creatures of darkness and, despite the mist, the sun was shining, so at least that ruled that out. A zombie maybe? It didn't even fucking matter, really. Whatever it was, it was crawling toward Hermione with ridiculous speed. A human she would've grappled, but fuck if Millicent was going to touch that thing again if she didn't have to.
