For her part, Tracy rolled her eyes, sincerely doubting that Ted had exaggerated that much. She didn't know Barney very well - heck, she didn't know any of them very well - but she was pretty good at reading people. She'd overheard more than two stories from guests at his wedding that were truly stumped that anyone had managed to tie Barney down. Add that to the few stories she'd heard from Ted and her own experiences, and she was more than sure that she was absolutely right about who Barney really was.
And, sure - sometimes it really grossed her out to think about the type of stuff he must have pulled, but she'd never been the type of person that held one terrible quality against someone. Especially when she knew that the person in question eventually got it together. So while she'd avoid buying his crap, she also wouldn't write him off.
"Nope. Although, I've always wanted to date royalty." She smiled to herself, proud. What an awesome joke. She gave him a moment to laugh before moving on. "Ted gets those girls because he's genuine. We like that he's very obviously huge dork - a bigger dork, I'd like to point out, than I am, thank you very much - and isn't afraid to call after one day. We like knowing that he likes us, and that he's looking for something serious. The suave, debonair hot guy is good at first, but it doesn't take us long to realize that he's the guy to avoid. It's to hard to figure out if he means a word he says. With Ted, there's no doubt that he does."
