It was clear enough from the look on Lisa's face that she hadn't been expecting to see Robin, either. Robin just stood there, still smiling that awkward smile, and gave a wave. It was totally a gesture she would've never expected from herself, it something out of Ted's book for sure, but Robin didn't exactly know what to do in a situation like this.
"No, you're not dead." At least she could offer that much. "I mean, I don't think I'm dead -- anymore -- we're just here in good old Marrowood." Okay, that wasn't really all that reassuring, either. What was someone supposed to say now, seriously? "Sorry I... didn't get in touch once I came back.... Can I help you find something at the store?"
