Gretel found herself seriously considering not telling him, and the notion of keeping information from him alone turned her stomach in a very uncomfortable way. She didn't answer him right away, if only to breathe out the knot that'd just formed in her stomach.
"Emma Swan- the one that's been going around setting up town committees, or whatever." Which Gretel had first thought was a complete fool's errand, but after a while to think about it, her opinion had changed. If they were all stuck here, the least they could do was try to organize for safety's sake. That first weekend with the sirens and the creatures was a prime example of ants scattering in panic. Normally she and Hansel were hard pressed to join anything outside of their own codependent circle, but like she was trying to say- things here were different.
"And she's about as much a witch as I am," Gretel added, pointedly meeting her brother's eyes. "She was born with it, didn't know about it, didn't want it- but now her friend needed help, and she's doing everything she can to save him."
