"I have nothing to gain by beating around the bush with you," Hans explained, amused by Sawyer's reaction. Perhaps with someone else, Hans would have benefited from being more subtle or tactful, but this was a situation that required candor. He didn't think either himself or Sawyer would appreciate an alliance built on false grounds. While he would have benefited from an ally nonetheless, Hans needed to ensure said ally wouldn't cut and run once truths revealed themselves.
"Everything Queen Elsa said is true." Dropping the title still wasn't something he could or would do, despite his lack of respect for her leadership ability. "I'll summarize it simply: I wanted to be King and thought I could marry into her family to do so. It was obvious Princess Anna was going to die -- long story -- so I went after the Queen, who'd proven herself to be a danger to her people due to the uncontrollable magic she'd used to curse the people of Arendelle. I thought she needed to be eliminated, but she ended up evading me."
Now, Hans could only wait to see if Sawyer wanted to stick around. Millicent hadn't proven herself a turncoat; would he?
