Re: Rick, Michonne, & OTA - cleaning up the mess
The promise of cooked breakfasts every morning, even when some of the offerings were highly questionable, was one blessing in a cloud of flaws to this place. The break from the walkers was starting to wear though, with the constant uncertainty of what was coming, the heartache of the darkness that came with it.
Michonne wasn't sure what she longed for more, this place to become predictable enough to be easy, or to go back to what had become predictable and easy, to an extent.
"Caramelised onions on bagels." She didn't hide the smirk that came with that, bumping her shoulder into Rick's lightly and she hummed under her breath her appreciation. Breakfast, especially a warm one, being a welcome promise after tonight. "Food and showers. I do like the hot water." She could understand Beth's elation at that too.
