Re: Rick, Michonne, & OTA - cleaning up the mess
Michonne had, naturally, stuck around to monitor how things went, making sure there was no surprise, no sudden shift, no tricks. As the vessels had started to come back to themselves, the knack in finding out who was actually themselves proved fairly tiresome, almost as tiresome and cleaning out after the battle itself.
Not that Michonne complained. She never did, she just carried on until all that was really left was righting some chairs and squaring away a few supplies. She was loitering for more than one reason. Rick was still there, dragging his feet through all the responsibilities he'd assumed, and Michonne was just silently hovering in the background, making sure he didn't crumple under the weight.
"Finished?" The cells were locked, the ones that had passed were wrapped up, they'd figure out what to do about that in the morning, they needed the rest to be able to figure it out themselves. Michonne had squared away everything out front, there wasn't exactly anything left for them to do.
