Re: Pinkie Pie, Ruby Lucas & OTA - A death in the cells.
The smell in the cell area of the station was hard on Ruby. Between the building smell of decay, the blood that permeated the air from the violence these things were performing on the cells and themselves, that was what really pushed Ruby to the limit. Thankfully, Hawke's pet was enough to keep her somewhat distracted without being entirely gone. Ser Barkington seemed to cope just as well as she did with all the smells and noises.
The large animal was asleep when Ruby got the sense that something wasn't right. It was hard to shake, as she climbed to her feet, dusting off the jeans Emma had loaned her and wandering down the cells, ignoring the more violent of the possessed until she stopped at the girl that seemed to suffer the most horrific possession ever.
"Hey..." with the decomposition, the blood and sweat and dust and dirt clogging up Ruby's senses, she wasn't able to instantly pin point what was wrong. She'd been warned against talking to them, and she knew better after what happened with the thing in Jefferson to really think that any of them would be harmless. But this time it looked like it was serious. Taking a breath, Ruby opened up the cell, stepping inside carefully and hunching down, placing a hand on the girls shoulder and flinching back at how cold it was.
"Um.... Someone! A little... a little help in here!" The blood assaulted her nose the longer she stayed, but as she reached to check the girls neck, Ruby couldn't find a pulse at all. "I think someone just died!" Her heart started hammering in her chest, this girl clawed herself bloody before this thing killed her, and glancing around she could tell that the others in there were close to the decomposition being serious and... "HEY IS ANYONE OUT THERE!"
Ruby really wished Emma hadn't gone off into that place.
