Leaving Lisa's hijacked body at the Station wasn't an easy task, mentally more than physically, but Dean knew it was something that had to be done. He had work to do, people to save, there wasn't time for demonic babysitting today. The past couple of days had effectively torn his mind in a million different directions, but as soon as he was alone and with a clear objective in mind, he felt a lot more like himself. He was in his element. Even if it was in the middle of Ghost village.
First, he naturally decided to clear the town, making sure there weren't any more psycho body snatchers running around before he even touched the whole Astral Projection thing. At least the place wasn't very big, and he was lucky enough to have a tour guide on his first day, so he hadn't even had much need to pull out his map.
The first half or so had been paced through, with the Hunter sticking to shadows and slinking along the sides of buildings, as was his nature in places where things could jump out of nowhere. Of course, when he made that action plan, he was expecting ghosts, not the thing that actually did pop out at him.
Dean was poised for attack at every second of his search, but after having the wind knocked out of him, he couldn't immediately take the offensive. Good thing, too, because it turned out to just be some punk kid.
"W-wha-what the Hell?" He started, trying to get his lungs to cooperate again, as he spun around to face the other person that was suddenly in his space. Part of him wanted to bombard the kid with a verbal assault of some kind, but something about him made him hesitate. Probably the fact that he wasn't a monster - for a pleasant change of pace - paired with the genuine look in the newcomer's face.
Instead, he just went with mildly irritated. "Man, I've been knocked around by way bigger things than you, I'm fine," he paused, his pissy look turning into one of slight confusion. "Where did you come from, anyway, you must've been going like 80 down that road." On his feet? Sure, maybe he was exaggerating a little bit, but Dean couldn't help but wonder why he hadn't heard him. Though, if it turned out to be more of this magic bullshit that was floating around, he wasn't sure he wanted to hear it.
