Gretel pegged the girl with a reactive gaze, instantly sizing her up as friend or threat; it didn't take more than a heartbeat, noting the genuine look of concern. "We are," Gretel said, a little cautiously. Subconsciously she shifted weight, leaning her body more between Hansel and their greeter. "My name is Gretel- this is my brother, Hansel."
