The last person to say no was Steve. He actually smirked the longer Robert argued his case like Steve would laugh in his face or turn him down or say it was a stupid idea. No, Steve knew all about being the little guy that no one believed could fight.
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog," Steve said. "I'll show you. You don't need to be a big guy like me to learn the basics. You're going to have to train more than just fighting though. It'll be conditioning training. I'll get you fit."
He reached out and clapped Robert on the shoulder. "I've been the little guy with a lot of fight in him. Don't worry, you can manage."
