"You really are." Even at the risk of getting into trouble, Emma popped herself up on the kitchen counter, pushing the sleeves of his shirt up a little while picking at the fruit slices to nibble, "It's just as well too, since I'm really not." And that was really an understatement, Emma wasn't really one for the homebody thing, she drank coffee like it was air and would eat whatever was convenient. That was when she remembered to eat. She was sort of lucky that Killian and Jefferson kept on top of that.
"Hide away, only go out to get more food." And even then, Emma could just magic it in. "It'd be nice." It'd be very isolated, something that Jefferson had already lived through in Storybrooke. Emma knew that even though she could fantasise about the isolated life, just her and Jefferson, mucking around and enjoying the peace, it'd be impossible to actually doing it. "But you'd be responsible for my entertainment." Crunching her way through an apple slice, Emma just smirked as she nudged his side with her toes. "You know I can be very demanding."
On the whole, Emma was getting used to this. It was a bit of an emotional upheaval all the time, but she still had Jefferson, since the start, and definitely someone she was clinging to for as long as possible.
