"Simulacrum." Ken repeated the unfamiliar word thoughtfully, his accent distorting the pronunciation and adding extraneous syllables as he stumbled his way through it, but that didn't seem entirely right to him. And not just because the entities known as Personas, with their featureless faces and strange forms, couldn't ever be mistaken for human. Slowly, he shook his head. "There's a world parallel to ours that all minds are connected to, but most people know about it. It's full of Shadows; monsters that are born from the darkest parts of our thoughts and emotions." He knew how it all sounded and he touched the Evoker still sitting on the table, tracing his fingertips over the letters 'S.E.E.S' that were embossed on the side. "If you can control your Shadow or if you've got the Potential, like Koromaru and me, then it becomes a Persona instead."
Why any of that should be...he couldn't say. But it was the truth. He drew his hand back from the Evoker so Dorian could get a better look, then smiled a little at the question. "Sure," he said, "Koromaru and I practice every day anyway. And I'd like to see more of what you do too."
