Ken wasn't certain whether or not Lavellan actually liked him. The man worried about him and went out of his way to make certain that he was safe, but that didn't necessarily mean anything. He was still young and, for some, that was reason enough to be protective of him. It could be frustrating, but he'd become accustomed to it and tried to take in stride. It would only last a few more years, after all. Still...he hoped Dorian was right. But he did know that the elf liked Koromaru and he smiled, remembering how the man had reacted to the shiba inu when they'd first met. "Mr. Lavellan's a good person," he agreed, "He and Koromaru definitely hit it off."
He fell silent as Dorian lifted his hands, waiting with anticipation to see what would happen. When the electricity sparked to life between his fingers, leaping and crackling, he exhaled a soft noise of surprise. On the floor, Koromaru sprung to his feet and barked at the flickering plasma until it was crushed in the mage's grip. Ken leaned to pat the dog's head, murmuring something to him in his native language, then turned back to Dorian. The man made it look so effortless. "That's...amazing," he managed, shaking his head and looking thoughtful.
The question made him pause and he glanced down into his tea for a moment. Even now, he didn't fully understand his gift, but it only seemed fair to explain as well as he could. "I do. But I can't call on anything directly." He reached to remove the Evoker from his holster and set the metal, gun-shaped item on the table between them. "I can use this to summon a Persona. He's...part of me. A manifestation of my psyche. He can heal and generate light and electricity."
