"すごい..." Ken murmured softly, obviously impressed in addition to being curious now. He didn't know what a magister was or even what it meant to be a mage when magic was real rather than something that existed in books and movies, but it all seemed spectacular. A world with forces like that in it had to be changed for the better, didn't it? He put out his small, callused hand to shake Dorian's and smiled sheepishly, "I'm Ken Amada. It's nice to meet you."
He paused, wrapping his hands around the cup of tea that the older man had poured for him as he listened, then shook his head. "Me? No. Not like you are; there aren't mages back home. Mr. Lavellan mentioned it to me and said I should ask if I'm curious." He blew at a wisp of steam rising from his cup, then admitted, "It's...hard not to be."
