WHO: Lydia and Derek WHEN: Friday night WHERE: Near Sleepy Hollow WHAT: getting some 'fresh' air WARNINGS: TBA STATUS: Closed/In progress
It had taken Lydia a few weeks to feel somewhat normal. After the last attack the town had, it had taken a lot out of her. But then again, it was her own fault and she knew it. She could still hear that voice in her head, and see that reflection in the mirror from time to time. Though, the real struggle was during the nights. Having agreed Lydia would sleep in Derek’s room for him to help her if she screamed at night. Some nights it helped, other nights… Well she felt extremely bad when she wasn’t able to control her screams. She was grateful for Derek and the others though. Well Derek and Isaac. Lydia didn’t see much of Malia or Stiles. Which was fine she knew the two would want to spend as much time together as possible. It wasn’t a big deal. Though, Lydia didn’t notice she came to lean a little more towards Derek these past few days for comfort. Something she didn’t think she’d ever do. And her relationship with Isaac reminded her of something siblings would do with one another.
Lydia figured tonight, she would go out for some air. At least while the calmness lasted that is. She wasn’t really going anywhere, more so walking around to get a better feel of the town. Since her arrival Lydia hadn’t really explored many places. So, she would use this time to do just that. Already she had made her way down the cross road in the town and soon her steps would lead her back towards that pack house. She wasn’t in much of a hurry. She used the time to try and block out the voices that came from every corner. Lydia suspected that dying had triggered something in her Banshee abilities, because it seemed as though the voices would never stop.
It would become overwhelming from time to time. Causing the red head to stop and try and collect herself. At least as best as possible that is. This unfortunately was one of those moments. She came to lean against one of dead trees. Her frame came to slide down as she sat on the ground, that was covered in dead leaves. Her eyes came to close as she tried to control her breathing and relax. But all she saw was the image of her demonic self-laughing, and taunting her. Her hands soon came over her ears as she pressed her lips together and did her best to not scream. But even that struggle didn’t last long, as she came to let out a sonic scream around the forest.
