Tony didn't think he was a genius, he knew it. But even if he never would vocalize it he also knew that he wasn't perfect. There would always be someone or something smarter than him, some situation he wouldn't be able to solve, a problem he wouldn't be able to fix--things that were far beyond him. It was just the way things were. But that didn't mean he wouldn't push the bill and try until he couldn't anymore.
This place had a hard time coming if it thought he'd go belly up. "You seem to be on top of your organizing game, and getting the city together so I trust you won't go vigilante on us."
He didn't want to tell her what to do but he wasn't heartless. No one wanted to see anyone die. Especially if they were tying to find a way out for everyone and sticking out their neck. "If we can use those maps, mark out sites, coordinate strikes with teams, maybe not send out everyone at once in case they need back up. We could probably get somewhere with solving this puzzle. Until then, we may have to wait about an hour for this film to develop."
