Evie & Logan - I do what I can
There were people in London who feared the name Frye. Evie was reguarded as a deadly enemy to have and absolutely fearless. However, under Logan's gaze and bright smile she felt like a tittering Victorian lady trying not to blush.
"I suppose if we really needed to relax we could spar," she said, attempting to appear unflustered and calm. She did not get the attention of Victorian men. They saw her as wicked, wild, sinful because she wore pants instead of layers upon layers of skirts and did not conduct herself like a lady. Henry, well, his attention was different. Not as intense as Logan's or as present.
"I do believe if we truly let loose against each other we could have a true challenge." And she would relish the chance to spar with him again. It got her heart racing the first time, a second dance would be exhilarating.
