Evie & Logan - you're a doll *snugs*
Logan raised his glass once more in a toast. "Here's to hoping," he said to her. He had never been one to put much stock into 'hope', not until he had joined the X-Men. They gave him something to fight for, and he supposed that was the closest to hope he was going to get. He downed his whiskey, and refilled his glass before he looked up at Evie.
"I know a few people you'd get along with," he said with a chuckle. "Not that you and I don't get along." Because they did, a lot better than he ever anticipated when they first spoke. He smiled at her fully this time, eyes half-lidded from the atmosphere more than the whiskey. It worked here better than it worked at home, but it was still slow (very slow) to work.
"I can't think of a better way to relax than spending time with you," he said with a nod of his head. He would have added 'friend' but, well, he didn't want to stamp it as just that.
