Evie & Logan
Evie was flattered to have his attention, though she was reluctant to admit it. Her father taught her that personal connections, romantic entanglements were dangerous. They distracted from the work of the Assassins. She had learned herself that her father was a very bitter man after the death of her mother.
"I miss the sounds of carriages," she admitted, "Strolling along the street is a little less enjoyable with this busses around."
There was a great deal that she found fascinating about the technology here but London in her time had its charm. Perhaps she simply missed home and her brother and the train and her whole world. "Of course, the smell is better. There's no constant smoke and no ships from the Thames."
