Oh, good, they were going to talk about Anders. Hawke got a glass for himself and poured some ale. This sort of conversation required something to wet his whistle. "Anders was possessed and there's not much you can do for someone inhabited by a spirit. They don't cope with our world well. Perhaps without Justice he could've been saved. He certainly wouldn't have been driven to the extremes he was without Justice prodding him along. He would always be a revolutionary though, always fight for mages."
There was no doubt in his mind that Anders would have done something to bring about freedom for mages but he didn't know if what happened to the Chantry was his former lover's idea or Justice. The spirit always had such extreme views.
"Sounds like fun. Hopefully your friends don't fall to temptation the way mine did." Justice didn't betray him but of course Justice belonged in the Fade. Everyone else was too easily tempted over. At least they apologized in the end. "Ask Varric to send for her. He's in touch with all of us. You might be able to get all of them to your little Inquisition. All except Aveline. She's too bound by her duty to Kirkwall. Flames, Fenris might come just because you tell him he can hunt Tevinters. Nothing he loves more."
