How Hershel and the girl were exhausted he wouldn't know. It wasn't all that comforting to see that spirits could wear down, especially not at the rate it looked that Pinkie was at, which was more than alarming.
Jefferson wouldn't give them a hard time for stopping to take a break. It was an old man and a little girl, and he wasn't that much of an ass. Yet as Pinkie's whining increased, that fog came rolling in, and thus would enter more confusing and completely horrifying things. She was just..gone. Out of nowhere.
He felt frozen in place, seeing how easy she was removed from here. Yet at least in those last few seconds she didn't seem to be in pain. Positive right "Hopefully to a better place. Come on, it looks like we don't have much time before we'll be following after her."
