The one who took her lantern sounded so confident and sure of himself, that it put a small spark into Pinkie that they just might get out of here. If Damon looked closely, though, he would see that Pinkie Pie was fading into this world and seemed to be turning into one of the many souls that wandered this world. All of their observations were spot on, Pinkie Pie wasn't doing okay, and with each step she took with her new companions, she seemed to get more and more sluggish.
"I don't know how much more I can go." She felt like she had been walking for miles, even though she knew it was only a few steps. This new direction towards the hotel made her feel sluggish, and like she was fighting against strings pulling her back towards the path she was walking before.
"What is at the hotel anyways?" Pinkie asked a little breathlessly as she looked up at the three men, "Is that how we get back home? Is there a magical door there that will take us back?" Talking scratched her throat and made her voice hoarse, but she was curious why this group was adamant upon getting to Sleepy Hollow.
